Battle of the Labyrinth

The fourth book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is coming out May 6th in the U.S. Avid Percy readers know that at the start of this book, war between the Olympians and Titans is about to erupt. Here’s what Rick Riordan’s website has to say about the book:

“Even Camp Half-Blood isn’t safe, as Kronos’s army prepares to invade its once impenetrable borders. To stop them, Percy and his friends must set out on a quest through the Labyrinth — a sprawling underground world with surprises and danger at every turn. Along the way Percy will confront powerful enemies, find out the truth about the lost god Pan, and face the Titan lord Kronos’s most terrible secret. The final war begins . . . with the Battle of the Labyrinth.”

Is anyone else tingly? I love this series. It’s hilarious, action-packed and it makes me feel smart at parties. Okay, I don’t really go to parties. But it makes me feel smart when the people at work break out the mythology trivia. (What can I say? I work in a library).

Check out Riordan’s website for a video of the author reading part of the first chapter.
